Challenge
A Series B founder in B2B infrastructure ran the company well and stayed off the internet on purpose. When fundraising started, every intro required a 20-minute explanation of who they were. Investors arrived cold. The team could not point to a public thesis. Search returned the company page and almost nothing about the person who would sit in the room.
Solution
EKA ran positioning calls first, not a content sprint. We named the unfair advantage the founder already used in private: a specific way of buying and deploying infrastructure that competitors treated as a footnote. Then we built a short personal brand: a one-line thesis, a 90-second version, and a profile that matched how they actually speak. LinkedIn became the place that thesis lived, not a second job.
Result
Within a quarter, two investor intros opened with the thesis already restated. The founder stopped spending the first third of every meeting on context. Search started returning the person, not only the logo. The raise still had to be earned. The room was no longer starting from zero.
